About BRX

BRX is a weekly networking breakfast meeting, with an emphasis on giving and receiving referrals. This can be done because we gaining understanding of other members’ skills and develop trust. This is similar to BNI, for those of you who know it; however, the atmosphere is more relaxed without any pressure to give referrals each week. BRX also offers free personal and business development as part of its membership package.

About Our Group

Swindon BRX East has met every week for the last 5 years. Currently the mix of friendly men and women members gather at the Nightingale Hotel. Based in South Marston, the hotel offers a wide choice of breakfast menu in a comfortable surrounding, which costs just £10. The meeting although professional and structured is conducted in a relaxed and informal manner.

All our members are professional in their approach and many have years of experience, which they are pleased to share with the group.

Members improve their confidence, not only about giving presentations but also generally. They gain clarity about their company message and have the opportunity receive expert advice and support from the other members

How to Visit or Join

If you are interested in visiting our group to see if this suits you then please email the membership secretary (email link with copy to chair and treasurer) with any questions or the date that would suit you most. You will need to give a 60 second presentation about your business, so be prepared and also bring plenty of business cards. The format of the meeting is usually as follows

60 second presentations - all attendees (including visitors) make a 60 second presentation of their business or of a business–related topic emailed by the chairman prior to the meeting.

10 minute presentation – one member each week will deliver a more in-depth presentation of their business

Referrals session – led by the Referrals Secretary. This is the culmination of the meeting. Qualified business leads are exchanged and recorded on Business Referral Slips. If someone has no new referral, they may report on past referrals or just make a testimonial. There is no pressure to make a referral

Further networking and business meetings as required. Attendees typically leave from 15 to 45 minutes later.

    The South Marston Hotel (SN3 4SH) is 2 miles from the A420/A419 junction which is 2 miles north of J15 of the M4. Head towards Oxford on the A420, passing Toys ‘R’ Us, Sainsbury’s and an Esso Garage. Just after the speed camera on the left, turn left into Old Vicarage Lane. The Hotel is on the left as you enter South Marston, opposite Nightingale Lane.
